Nancy O. Ryan graduated with honors from The Johns Hopkins University in 1979 and magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1982. She taught street law in DC public schools and began her legal career at a small general practice firm in Alexandria, VA. After a brief stint at the Department of Labor, she spent eight and a half years as a bankruptcy expert with the Internal Revenue Service. In 1997 Nancy went to work at the Law Offices of Robert Weed where she represented literally thousands of bankruptcy clients over the next ten years. In 2007 Nancy opened the Law Office of Nancy O. Ryan. She continually accepts pro bono cases from a variety of sources and was the recipient of a Legal Services of Northern Virginia Pro Bono Award in 2008. She is committed to serving the community and helping those who need it most. Nancy's day is made when a potential client leaves her office after the free consultation saying, “I feel so much better now!” |  |
